People form the heart of the business. By supporting those in need in our employment and the vulnerable groups in our midst, businesses can make a lasting impact in alleviating the social issues as we build a more compassionate and inclusive society together.

The SBF Foundation remains steadfast in catalysing a more sustainable and resilient socio-economic landscape in Singapore. Apart from rallying the Singapore business community to support different segments of the workforce, we strive to bridge businesses with their choice charities to champion causes close to their hearts. One such effort is Project MigrantWell, a donor-initiated initiative for the health and wellbeing of migrant workers.

Businesses interested in connecting to other causes to uplift the community (eg. Arts, Sports, Health, Social, Education), can contact us.

Sparked by the passion of the families of Khoo Teck Puat and Ng Teng Fong, SBF Foundation spearheaded Project MigrantWell, catalysing businesses to make a collective impact in society.

Seeking to create a holistic care compact network for the physical and mental wellbeing of migrant workers, SBF Foundation has held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing event with our partners – the Estate of Khoo Teck Puat, Estate of Ng Teng Fong, St Andrew’s Mission Hospital and Ministry of Manpower.

With the launch of Project MigrantWell on 29 Nov 2021, our touchpoints have expanded from employees in need to include the migrant worker community who form the backbone of some of our labour-intensive industries and have been heavily impacted by the pandemic.

Project MigrantWell comprises of a charity, welfare fund, and a regional medical centre for the migrant workers in Singapore.

Companies who wish to contribute towards enabling a catalytic care compact for migrant workers in Singapore may donate here.
